COVID-19 Pop-Up Vaccination Site Available in Canton
COLUMBUS – A COVID-19 pop-up vaccination site will be available in partnership with Marc’s Pharmacy at the William Hunter Head Start Center in Canton on Wednesday, June 9. The Pfizer two-dose vaccine will be available for individuals age 12 and older, and the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine will be available for individuals age 18 and older. Second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at a clinic on June 30.
Registration is encouraged at gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov (enter ZIP code 44705). Walk-ins are welcome.
The Ohio Department of Health has partnered with federally qualified health centers and other local partners to make COVID-19 vaccines more easily available to minority populations. Pop-up vaccination sites throughout Ohio are open to Ohioans currently eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines. This event is planned in addition to Ohio’s state-sponsored mass vaccination clinics.
