Hello there from my computer to yours. I’ve wanted to be in broadcasting since watching Peter Marshall host The Hollywood Squares. At first, I wanted to be a movie or television star. But then, I heard Ted Hallaman and Dave Pelunis co-hosting the morning show on easy-listening radio station (known as an “elevator music” format) WDOK in Cleveland. I then heard the talented voices of John Lanigan, Gary Dee, Joe Finan and many others and from there, I knew that’s what I wanted to do for a living. That was forty years ago and I haven’t looked back from continuing in that line of work. I’ve had other jobs along the way (including my favorite working in the freight department at Kohl’s, where I learned so much about going with the flow), but broadcasting remains my first love. I bounced around various shifts here at WXTQ and sister station WATH from 1988-95. Other stations I’ve worked at include WOUB, WJER in Dover and WTUZ in New Philadelphia. I moved back to Athens County in late 2017 and back to this radio family shortly thereafter. You can check me out weekdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm on POWER 105 and on weekend afternoons playing Classic Hits on sister station WATH. Turn me on. I’ll turn you on.
