GUITAR HERO III COURT STREET CHALLENGE INFO Are you a Guitar Hero? A Guitar hero challenge will be executed using XBOX 360 throughout Athens. Open registration will begin 30 minutes prior to each event, with no max on competitors. The mode setting will be HARD with each player playing two songs chosen by the Miller Lite Girls. Highest combined score wins. The top 3 scores for each event earn a chance to compete at the final event for an XBOX 360 console complete with Guitar Hero III. Rules and Regulations etc Click HERE

Also, remember, if you have lost a dog,please check with the Athens County Dog Shelter as it may be there. The shelter is also an adoption center. Putt People First visit http://www.puttpeoplefirst.org The old miniature golf course at the far side of Southside Park is the site for a creative fundraising project to benefit autism work in Athens through HAVAR and conflict resolution work in Athens through the Athens Area Mediation Service. Local businesses and organizations are sponsoring holes on the course which means they will design and construct a miniature golf hole over the top of an existing hole. The course will open on a limited schedule providing more publicity & fun through the summer and early fall, with employment opportunities for folks with disabilities. ______________ Saturday, May 3 (Mom’s weekend) is the date for the first annual tournament. A grand opening will be held on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 11. Noon – 4 each day. The project will be an annual event. ______________ Eagle sponsors are The Athens News & Floor and Moore.
