GUITAR HERO III

COURT STREET CHALLENGE

 

Tournament Rules

  • Registration begins at 8:30
  • Contest beings at 9:00 pm and ends around 11:30pm
  • The first 30 people registered are guaranteed to play.  If there is adequate time more contestants may be eligible.
  • If your name is called and you are not present you are deleted from the list.
  • Each event will have 2 songs selected for the night.  The first song will be on the MEDIUM setting.  The second song will be on the HARD setting.  Each event will have 2 different songs than the previous event.
  • Contestants 1 through 30 will play the first song.  Then contestants 1 through 30 will play the second song.
  • The top 3 highest scores of each event will be asked to compete in the final at Buffalo Wild Wings in Athens, OH
  • The top 3 contestants of each event are not allowed to compete in any other event until the final.
  • If you are not one of the top 3 you can play in as many events as possible.

 

Rules for the Final

  • NCAA Basketball type bracket.
  • Winners and Losers Bracket, double elimination.
  • Highest point total is the #1 seed; lowest point total is the last seed.
    • If odd # of finalists, contestants with the lowest point totals will play in a rat tail game for a spot in the bracket
    • If there is a tie in point totals, the contestants will guess a number between 1 and 50 that the Miller Lite girls choose.  The contestant that gets closest to that number without going over wins.
  • The highest seed will play the lowest seed in a GUITAR HERO BATTLE.
  • The losing opponent will drop into the losers bracket.
  • The winner of the losers bracket will play the winner of the winners bracket, but must beat the winner’s bracket twice in order to win the contest.
